I just love what she did with it!

And this one is by Stephanie.

You can find it here if you would like to leave her a comment!

It's so cute!!!

Thanks so much for sharing.

Keep up the good work!

Freebie and Other Stuff

Okay.

So, there's lots of stuff going on at ScrapMatters this week.

First:

And this is the great prize by the amazing Ellie Lash!

And, since I am not hosting, I can't wait to be there.

And, speaking of hosting.

I am hosting another challenge this week at ScrapMatters.

It is the Saturday Special here.

You have to scrap a layout and give it a clever title. I hope you will come and play.

Here is my example:

Sometimes, being a parent stinks! LOL!

This is the fun participation prize.

Isn't it cute?

And, they are staring the daily download back up at ScrapMatters. And it is cute!!!

You can find the forum with the download here.

And, last but not least...the promised freebie.

**link has expired** however, it is still availabe at http://denisebeattyoriginals.blogspot.com

Enjoy.

Randomness

This is for the from our blog to your challenge at Sweet Shoppe Designs:

It was a quiz about the movie Grease.

And apparently:

You know the movie

You have correctly answered 11 of 15 questions.

On average, 801 of users who took the quiz gave 11.45 right answers.

See? Random.

Okay, and one more.

What accent do you have?

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The West

Your accent is the lowest common denominator of American speech. Unless you're a SoCal surfer, no one thinks you have an accent. And really, you may not even be from the West at all, you could easily be from Florida or one of those big Southern cities like Dallas or Atlanta.

The Midland

Boston

North Central

Philadelphia

The Northeast

The South

The Inland North

And last one:

Who were you in high school?

You Were the Brainy Kid

In high school, you were acing AP classes or hanging out in the computer lab.

You may have been a bit of a geek back then, but now you're a total success!

I will be back today with a couple of show offs and a freebie.

So Cute!

So, I just had to share...we had a speed scrap today at Scrap Matters. It was so fun.

A speed scrap? Well, you basically have two hours to scrap a layout. You get one instruction every 10 minutes for one hour (7 different instructions). After the first hour is over and all the instructions are given, you then have one more hour to finish your layout and get it into the gallery.

Well, I don't know, but I seem to thrive under pressure, and some of my best work is during these speed scraps.

So, I LOVED my layout so much, I just had to share!

This is Britt-ish Designs Mermaid Lagoon kit. Isn't it awesome?

BTW, I am hosting a speed scrap next week...I will give more details as it gets closer.

Holy Cow, A Freebie

Well, my life is almost back to normal. As normal as it can be!

And what do you know, I have a template!

Here it is:

**link has expired** however, it is still availabe at http://denisebeattyoriginals.blogspot.com

And here's what I did with it.

This layout is for the ScrapMatters Quick Page Exchange.

If you have never done one, it is so fun. You buy the kit (it's one sale) and then scrap something with it. You turn your layout into a Quick Page and then everyone else who participates does the same. At the end of the month you get all the quick pages that were created.

It's a pretty great way to get an entire coordinating album.

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing what you create with the template.

If you get a chance, please leave me a comment with a link to your creations.

I'm On a Roll

So, I am hosting another challenge at ScrapMatters here.

This time it is a recipe challenge...I give you a list of scrapbook ingredients, and you create a layout based on the list.

And THIS is the FABULOUS participation prize you get just for playing along.

I just LOVE it!

So, come and play at ScrapMatters!

Two in Row

Holy cow.

Back from vacation, and two posts in a row!!!!

Today isn't a true freebie...you actually have to earn it.

But I am hosting a challenge at ScrapMatters.com here.

It is an extreme makeover challenge, scrap edition.

You take an old layout that you are less than satisfied with and redo it. Use the same photos, but all new everything else.

Just for participating, you get this great prize.

And one lucky winner (my favorite) will receive a gift certificate to Erica Zane's amazing store here.

Come check it out. Would love to see you!!!

ScrapMatters Grand Re-Opening

I'm back...and just in time.

ScrapMatters.com has been redesigned and we are celebrating!

There are so many things going on today, and over the next week...you just have to come by and check it out.

But, first things first. The ScrapMatters Design Team got together and created the most awesome kit called "Friday Flea Market," which is free with a $15.00 purchase. Isn't it huge?

And, if that isn't enough, a bunch of us have gotten together and created a 5 x 7 brag book from Friday Flea Market kit.

This is stop #14 in the Round-the-World Blog Tour!

If you have followed all the stops along the way, I am sure by now you have been all over the world! You're with me here in beautiful Virginia...where it's sunny and humid.

Here's your souvenir...it's another page to the 5 x 7 brag book. **link has expired** however, it is still availabe at http://denisebeattyoriginals.blogspot.com

The next stop on your trip is to Dacia's blog Strange Brewing (Dacia's designs are called Fluffy Bunny Feet, and she is fabulous!

If you are starting here, don't worry, the blog train is a circle that will bring you back here if you follow all the stops. If you get lost, the first stop on the tour was the ScrapMatters Team Blog.

Also, some of the designers are giving away grab bags as well as their brag book pages, so be sure to get them all.

And, if you are new to me, please feel free to browse my templates and wordart in the posts below. All the links are still active, available, and free.

In addition, there will be SO MANY fun challenges and activities at ScrapMatters this week...you can't believe all the freebies that will be available, as well as all the products that are on sale. If you have had your eye on something, now's the time to snag it!

I will be hosting a challenge on Saturday and on Sunday, so be sure to check the forum because in addition to possibly winning a gift certificate, you will also get a participation prize just for playing along.

Come join the fun!!!!! The site really looks amazing!
